It’s weird to think, but just a couple of years ago, even the best tracksuits were something you only really wore to exercise in. After an explosion in leisurewear, though, aided by a certain virus circa 2020, we’ve seen two piece tracksuits appearing on Instagram feeds and regularly walking designer catwalks.
For SS24, Miu Miu took the women’s trouser suit trend and sportified it with varsity jacket and short combos, while Louis Vuitton opted for a windbreaker and matching skirt look that we haven’t stopped thinking about since.
Far from the colour-clash options that populated the ’80s, tracksuits are, once again, a cool, stylish and comfortable option when it comes to getting dressed in the mornings.

Favoured by celebrities like Rihanna and NewJeans’ Danielle, as well as all your favourite influencers, friends/family/people you sit next to on the train, they’ve made quite the comeback.
While it’s a no-brainer to style them with slippers when at home/going to get an iced latte, adding accessories is the fastest way to take them from casual to chic when venturing outdoors. Try wearing the sweatshirt/hoodie over your shoulders with a plain white t-shirt, logo baseball cap, some chunky socks and fashion trainers.
