Australian music sensation G Flip shares innovative new EP ‘drumless’

Rising pop megastar G Flip continues to make waves this week, with the release of their latest extended play ‘drumless’ – a unique, and innovative collection of 5 tracks originally featured on the multi-instrumentalists critically acclaimed album ‘DRUMMER’, this time reimagined, unexpectedly, without drums!

Serving as the perfect vehicle to show showcase their “versatility and musical mastery”, the project transforms the energetic pulse of ‘The Worst Person Alive’ in to a moody, inward-looking mid-tempo bop, whilst also reimagining ‘Good Enough’ into a stripped-back, emotional pop ballad.

Commenting on the project, G says via a press release: “I wrote my album ‘DRUMMER’ from the drums up, so I thought it would be a fun experiment to reimagine some of my favourite songs on the album without drum-kit.”

“I love playing with arrangements, switching genres, changing tempos and keys, so it was a lot of fun messing around with all the songs to make them different and drumless.”

“I’m very proud of this cheeky project and hope you enjoy it mates.”
