Kim Zolciak-Biermann Dyes Her Hair Brown: See the Brunette Look

In the years we’ve known Kim Zolciak-Biermann since her Season 1 debut on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we’ve always seen the Florida native with light blonde locks.

More recently, Kim underwent a major hair transformation: she is now brunette.

We first saw the jaw-dropping debut on Kim’s oldest daughter Brielle Biermann’s Instagram Stories on June 3 when the Don’t Be Tardy alum shared a photo of Kim with dark hair and wrote, “[B]runette Kimmy????”

In the photo, Kim rocked beautiful long, deep brunette tresses that she lightly tousled. Brielle then grabbed a video of Kim with her new hair, exclaiming how “stunning” her mother looked with the fresh hue.

“So, my midlife crisis is working out for me or — ?” Kim teased about her dramatic hair change.

Brielle then joked, “I never thought 53 could look so good on someone,” causing Kim to grimace at her daughter’s remark.

“Really, sweetie?”

Just for the record, Kim, born on May 19, 1978, isn’t 53, but 46.

The mom of six, who was born in Pensacola, Florida, but grew up in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, maybe looked so at home in the above brunette snaps because she grew up with brown hair.

In several old photos we gathered here, Kim rocked dark brunette locks, often in a curly, voluminous style (hey, it was the ’90s!).

Kim had her first daughter, Brielle, on February 25, 1997, and her second daughter, Ariana, on October 17, 2001.

It seems after her teen years in the ’90s Kim took on a bleach blonde hairstyle in the early 2000s while going to nursing school and raising her kids.

Kim Zolciak shows off her “real hair”

We don’t know if Kim’s above brunette locks are her real tresses she recently colored or a wig, considering the Atlanta resident’s noted love of wigs (as you can see in the video above).

Back in February, Kim answered questions from her fans on Instagram, first revealing that the blonde voluminous locks she showed off in a photo was her “real hair.”

“So many questions! YES this is all my real hair!!” she exclaimed in the photo, also pointing to some of her favorite hair products.
