Lala Kent opened up about her new $3.1 million home in The Valley on her podcast on Monday.

Following rumors suggesting she purchased the property so she could easily appear on The Valley, Lala, 33, explained the real reason she bought in the area while also addressing Vanderpump Rulesfilming pause and revealing her favorite childhood memories.

“I bought my house in The Valley because it’s all I could afford. I would’ve liked to have been in the Beverly Hills Flats, b*tch, but I can’t afford it — yet. Okay? I did not move there because I wanted to be on The Valley. I moved there cause that’s what I could afford,” Lala clarified on the May 13 episode of Give Them Lala.

While Lala has said that she’s open to filming for The Valley, she’s also quite happy that she won’t be filming Pump Rules this summer since it will give her more time to spend with family she rarely gets to see.

“I want to go back to Utah … I’m so thrilled to have the summer off,” she explained. “To say that I’m very glad that I not only get to enjoy my pregnancy through the summer, I get to do things that I don’t normally get to do. My niece and nephew are off. We’re going to have the best time creating new [memories].”

Memories were the theme of Lala’s podcast episode, and during her show, she shared a series of her favorite.

“My favorite memory is … I loved Hollywood Video because I would ask my mom to rent me the same Mary-Kate and Ashley movie every single time and she would say, ‘Honey, do you just want me to buy it for you? Do you really like it that much?’ And I was like, ‘Yes! Please buy it for me.’ My next favorite memory would be any time we went to Lake Powell. It’s my most favorite place on Earth. If you asked me, you go, ‘You could go anywhere in the world,’ it would be Lake Powell,” she shared, revealing that her family had a houseboat and would go there “every summer.”

“The next thing is Newport Beach,” she added, “[where] we went every summer with dad, but also … going up Millcreek Canyon to barbeque. That was my most favorite thing to do.”

The three-part Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion begins Tuesday, May 14, at 8/7c on Bravo.
