Alexander Stewart shows the pop world just what he’s capable of this week, with the release of his debut album ‘bleeding heart’.
Made up of 12 soul-stirring tracks – including the singles ’blame’s on me’, ‘i wish you cheated’, and ‘broken by you’ which hailed as one of Rolling Stone’s Songs You Need To Know – the heartfelt collection sees Stewart reflect upon his journey through life thus far, tackling themes of love, loss and personal redemption, to produce a deeply introspective, and musically cohesive body of work that is sure to resonate with fans around the world.
Commenting on the record, Alexander says via a press release, “This album is a combination of the last 3 years of my life, and making it was truly the most beautiful, exciting, painful, trying, insane thing I’ve ever done!”
“I’m so excited for you to hear it and for these songs to help guide and lift you in whatever stage of the journey you are on! I can’t WAIT to be screaming these with you on tour.”
To celebrate the projects release, the Toronto native premiered the official music video for stand-out track ‘how dare you’ on MTV Live, MTVU, and MTV Biggest Pop, as well as on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

Earlier this week, Alexander kicked off his highly anticipated The Bleeding Hearts Tour, which is set to span 31 dates across North America, the UK and Europe.
Previously, Alexander has toured with artists including Charlie Puth, Benson Boone and Eric Nam, as well as for his international headlining Blame’s On Me Tour, where he performed in front of his rapidly growing fan base that has expanded to over 500 million global streams, 300 million views on YouTube and 130 million likes on TikTok.
