Kyle Richards and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, have a RHOBH” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>storybook romance that’s been going strong for nearly 30 years. However, Mauricio has had a long-standing bromance in addition to his romance.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband has developed a close rapport with Dorit Kemsley’s hubby, Paul “PK” Kemsley, over the years. The two, who are neighbors, have shared many meals together. (Who could forget that RHOBH-season-12-mauricio-umansky-paul-pk-kemsley-friendship-update-photos” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>one memorable evening that included a cheeseburger and a steak?) They’ve been known to make each other laugh for hours, and they’ve celebrated Hanukkah together.
Their friendship isn’t just relegated to Beverly Hills, either: The friends have set off on luxe vacations with their families, traveling to Mexico for some fun in the sun. But where does Mauricio and PK’s friendship stand today? PK’s recent Instagram post provided some insight.
PK shares a telling birthday tribute to Mauricio
Mauricio celebrated his 53rd birthday on June 25. To celebrate the occasion, PK shared a photo on his Instagram Stories, and the image spoke a thousand words.
The black-and-white picture showed Mauricio and PK in a photo booth at what appeared to be a special event. Both gentlemen were dressed in their finest formal wear, sporting tuxedo jackets and bowties.
While Mauricio posed with a rather standard smile, PK made a zany face for the snap. But in his caption, the real estate developer and talent manager had an earnest, heartfelt message for his friend. “Happy bday to my brother,” PK wrote. “May we always laugh and share our crazy lives together.”
Kyle dishes on Mauricio and PK’s bromance
In the clip above, Kyle dishes on her hubby’s bromance with PK. “Both Mau and PK love to have fun, and they love to hang out with their wives,” she says in the video.
“Now that we’re neighbors, you know, they’ll come over to each other’s houses, they’ll go out to eat while we’re working, and they both have a great sense of humor. PK really makes Mau laugh and vice versa. And he likes to tease Mau. He doesn’t mind being teased, so they just have this sort of bromance now that people like watching, and PK loves to put on his Instagram.”
Mauricio and PK’s Neighborly Bond
In 2019, Dorit and PK bought a $6.5 million mansion in Kyle and Mauricio’s Encino neighborhood. “Do you live close to Kyle?” one of PK’s Instagram followers asked.
PK’s response? “Very close[,] can hear her laughing now.”
